A new kind of happy dance

I'm stitching only a bit during these days. I'm busy with other things too... for example I've to iron a lot of clothes! But I've two progresses to share.
One is my Christmas ornament. It's going on slowly but I'm stitching it and I should be able to finish it before the end of the month.

The second and more important progress is on Once upon a time by Passione Ricamo. I can't beleive it: I finished the roses in the left part of the pattern. It's a kind of happy dance for me because the roses are really difficult in this pattern. There're seven different rose colours and four different green colours. I'm so happy to show this progress. I'm thrilled about this "happy dance" because I can start stitching the prince and the fairy and they seems to be more relaxing than all those roses.

Bea, those roses are gorgeous!! They look like a painting :) You can definitely call that a happy dance. It was brave of you to start with that tough part!

Hugs :)

Hey Bea, thanks for visiting me in return; what a lovely surprise! Your roses may have been a pain to stitch, but they sure look beautiful. Love the Prairie Schooler Santa as well.

Those roses look like they are a right royal pain to stitch - but they are soooo worth it, they look absolutely beautiful. Good on you for persevering ... now you get to stitch some of the 'fun part' :)

Did you get my email? Thanks for the Silkweaver GC :-) Very glad you like the floss! Go figure - it is 8/$1.00 this week!! Need any more? I will be going this weekend to get the floss for Stargazer anyhow!!

Hi Bea--Congrats on finishing all those roses!!! I totally understand what an accomplishment that is with so many small roses and so many color changes!!

Congratulations Bea - you were very patient to stitch all those roses first before starting the people. I'm not sure I could have done that!

The roses look beautiful on their own!
